Violins Van Parys Bass, April 2026

THIS BASS IS SOLD. JOHN KOEHLER IS WORKING ON THE NEXT ONE IN THE SERIES: The latest double bass from our Violins Van Parys line of handmade instruments. This bass began in Romania with the finest Bosnian Maple and Carpathian spruce available. Then, it was expertly graduated and hand varnished with tasteful antiquing by double bass maker, John Koehler. The string length is 41 1/4" string length, 44 1/4" length of back. A very comfortable size in a conservatory level instrument.
