Old English Violin 18th century
Old English or possibly French violin from the 18th century with a dendrochronology report dating the top wood to 1730. This is an intriguing violin, with ebony purfling which points to Parisian makers, or possibly 19th century English makers. The violin has a wonderful sound, and is in good preservation. The dendrochronology report is attached from Peter Ratcliff, which adds a layer of intrigue as to the origin of this fine violin
