Violin by Leo Aschauer, Mittenwald Germay, 1960s. Branded inside by the maker. Leo Aschauer worked in Berlin before WWII. He then moved to West Germany and became the director of the Mittenwald violin making school in the 1950s. This violin is in excellent preservation.
