5 String Modified Panormo model double bass made in the workshop of Hammond Ashley in 1992. Made by David Gerlach and Carl Blackwell of Western Big Leaf maple back and sides, and Sitka spruce top. The wood was sourced and cut by Hammond Ashley himself. This design was modified from a Panormo model instrument by Hammond Ashley.
