Collin Mulvany, Guitar


Collin Mulvany

Collin Mulvany teaches and performs within a variety of genres. With a Bachelor of Music in guitar performance and over twenty years of teaching experience, he meets the needs of beginning to advanced students. Collin is a dedicated educator and takes each student's goals to heart. His primary focus is to make the personal goals of each student a priority in the lesson plan. He provides lessons in music theory, technique, soloing, song writing, singing and playing, recording, performance, and transcription.

Originally from Indiana, Collin's journey began in the blues clubs of Indianapolis and continued across America. He studied guitar at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. With a move to Los Angeles, Collin worked as a composition assistant, orchestrator, and session player for the film, television, and advertising industry. Shortly after, he began to work as a composer for several prominent music and sound design studios.

Now based in the greater Eastside, Collin has two internationally distributed albums, is a affiliated composer with Clatter & Din Studios, has a guitar technology patent, produces, performs, and teaches guitar at Hammond Ashley Studios. Examples of his work can be heard at www.collinmulvany.com.
